Jill Duggar Shares Marriage Advice With Little Sister Jessa On Her Wedding Day

Jill Duggar may have only been married for few months, but it’s long enough to share some advice for her younger sister, Jessa, on her wedding day.

On Friday, the Duggar family gathered for the wedding rehearsal for Jessa and fiancé Ben Seewald. There, before dozens of family and friends, several members of 19 Kids and Counting family shared their hopes and advice for the young couple.

Jill Duggar said that her parents, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, have set a great example for what marriage should look like. Jill added that the couple should stay as madly in love as they are now.

“Jessa and I shared a lot with us being in relationships and us getting married, and now they are following along,” said Jill. “We have great examples in our parents that love doesn’t have to end. Spend lots of time together and remember, the honeymoon doesn’t have to end.”

Jill Duggar herself just got married, walking the aisle with Derick Dillard earlier this summer. Within a few weeks of their nuptials, Jill announced that she was pregnant, and later found out she’s having a boy.

At the wedding rehearsal on Friday, Jill’s husband Derick said he hopes Jessa and Ben follow their example.

“And we’re looking forward to seeing more cousins,” Derick said.

Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald were touched by the outpouring of support, and addressed the family and friends at the rehearsal.

“When I look at all the faces surrounding us tonight,” Ben told those in attendance, “I don’t know how to thank all of you for investing in our lives, and in our life together. Y’all make us feel so special.”

Though Jessa may not be pregnant yet, she will at least be in solidarity with her sister, Jill Duggar, at wedding reception. Jill won’t be drinking at all, and Jessa said she doesn’t plan on sipping any alcohol either, saying that liquor is “disgusting.”
