Following reports last week that things between Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres aren’t quite as peachy as they have been portrayed of late, new reports suggest that Portia is acting very randomly at the moment by showing up at Ellen’s studio, on a regular basis, apparently to check up on her.
Almost three full months passed without the daily rumors in the press about Ellen and Portia ending their marriage, amidst reports of drunken arguments, stints in rehab, and cheating allegations.
But it seems that similar rumors regarding the couple’s status may become daily headlines again, if recent reports are anything to go by. The Inquisitr reported on October 28, citing a PageSix report, that a huge argument erupted between Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres in the car on their way to a charity event last week.
As per that report, “PageSix reported yesterday that on their way to the Saving SPOT! fundraiser at Tiato in Santa Monica, they got into a fight, about something or other, which escalated into a full-blown row which was so severe that DeGeneres and de Rossi turned the car around and headed back home.”
A source told the publication, “Ellen and Portia were supposed to be at the event at 5 p.m., but at 6:30 p.m., the media was still waiting for their arrival. Reporters were told they were on their way, until the head of the charity informed everyone at the end of the event that they weren’t going to make it due to ‘logistics.'”
And now, according to an even more recent report from Radar Online, Portia has been showing up at Ellen’s workplace, as if keeping tabs on her, for some unexplained reason.
A source told the publication, “It is kind of creepy. Portia never used to come to see her at work.”
The insider added, “Ellen tells us that it helps having her there because she ‘at least she doesn’t have to worry about her being home alone. I have to admit, however, it seems like Portia is being slightly controlling by her unplanned visits.”
As always, it remains to be seen whether or not the latest de Rossi/DeGeneres rumors are true, as, in the past, they have often proved to be just speculation and not much more.
