Teresa Giudice’s Daughter Gia Releases 3KT Video: Too Much Too Soon?
Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice has been helping her daughter Gia Giudice get going on a music career and it’s garnering quite a bit of attention. Gia and two of her girlfriends have formed the group 3KT, and their first music video has just been posted online. It’s a cover of the Britney Spears song “Circus,” and people have definitely formed opinions on this one.
Gia Giudice, 13, Alexa Maetta, 16, and Christianna Carindale, 14, have created the group 3KT. Their version of “Circus” is featured in the professionally-produced video, and E! Online shares the scoop. The Real Housewives of New Jersey starlet and her girlfriends don heavy makeup and flashy costumes to dance their way through the performance.
Naturally, many fans of Teresa Giudice, Gia, and RHONJ adore the video. That doesn’t mean, however, that there aren’t quite a few critics. Many think the video is simply too risqué for the girls, especially given that Gia is 13-years-old. Others balk at the reported cost of the video. Radar Online says that despite looming prison sentences and hefty restitution due from both Teresa and Joe, Tre spent $10,000 on the 3KT video.
An insider claims that Joe Giudice was furious over the money spent on the 3KT “Circus” video, but that Teresa didn’t care. Those who check out the video by Gia, Christianna, and Alexa likely won’t be surprised to hear that apparently Giudice’s money didn’t even cover the full cost of the production, and the other families reportedly kicked in some bucks as well.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars owe hundreds of thousands of dollars in restitution and legal fees, and they were chastised in court for seemingly not understanding the severity of what they’d done wrong. If indeed Teresa Giudice spent $10,000 on Gia’s 3KT video in the midst of all the legal issues, many would have to wonder if she still doesn’t get it.
Teresa is slated to begin her prison term in January, and Joe will stay home taking care of their four girls. Once the RHONJ star is released, Joe will begin his sentence, and he may face deportation in a few years once he is released.
Is the video too over-the-top with the provocative dance moves, heavy makeup, and leather bustiers? Many commenting online believe the girls look far too sexualized, but naturally Teresa, Gia and the group seem quite pleased with it.
