Corey Simms Is Speaking To Jeremy Behind Leah’s Back [Report]
Corey Simms has been completely silent on social media since news of his ex-wife Leah Calvert’s alleged affair with Robbie Kidd. However, according to a new report, the Teen Mom 2 star is very much a part of her impending divorce.
Although Corey hasn’t said a think about Leah and Jeremy’s marital troubles, a source claimed he was the one who broke the news to Jeremy about Leah’s rumored hookup with Robbie.
“It was actually [Corey Simms] who called Jeremy to inform him of what his wife was allegedly doing with Robbie Kidd,” The Ashley’s Reality Roundup reported on October 28. “Jeremy had already heard the rumors around town and Corey confirmed them. Of course, Corey knows firsthand how it feels to hear around town that Leah was cheating on him with Robbie, since, as we ‘Teen Mom 2? fans got to watch a few seasons ago, that’s exactly what happened to Corey.”
Jeremy first revealed his wife’s alleged cheating on Twitter, telling fans he “caught” his wife with her ex-boyfriend. He also told fans he planned to file for divorce later that day, which, as the Inquisitr reported, he didn’t do.
As he prepares for divorce, Jeremy has reportedly found a friend in Corey Simms, who he was seen feuding with, via the Inquisitr, during the fifth season of Teen Mom 2.
“Jeremy and Corey have met up and both really want to make sure the twins and Addy stay in each other’s lives, regardless of what happens in the custody hearing,” a source told The Ashleys, adding that Jeremy is using the same lawyer as Corey did when he divorced Leah.
According to the West Virginia Petitioner’s divorce packet, “If minor children are involved in the divorce, you and the other parent must attempt to agree on a Joint Proposed Parenting Plan, unless your or your children’s safety and well-being would be put at risk.”
Leah “is a prisoner in her own home,” an insider told Life & Style. “She feels totally trapped, with her in-laws’ house only a few feet away. She feels like her every move is being watched.”
A second insider revealed Leah may be using drugs to cope with her recent troubles.
“She keeps falling asleep all the time — pals are worried she’s doing that when she’s supposed to be watching the kids [twins Aliannah and Aleeah, 4, and 9-month-old Adalynn],” the source explained. “They think she’s on more than just anti-anxiety medication. She could lose everything if she doesn’t shape up.”
Corey Simms is currently married to Miranda Patterson. The two met and became engaged shortly after his divorce from Leah in 2012.
