‘Game Of Thrones’: Kit Harrington On Emilia Clarke, Rose Leslie Romance Rumors

Game Of Thrones’ Kit Harrington has denied that he has ever had a romance with either Emilia Clarke or Rose Leslie, both of whom are his co-stars on the HBO fantasy drama.

During an interview with the London Evening Standard, Harrington discussed a variety of topics including the fact that he has developed into a heartthrob after appearing on the show. Because of this, his love-life has been a constant source of speculation.

There have been a variety of rumors surrounding his relationship with Rose Leslie, who played, Ygritte, the woman who Harrington’s Jon Snow had various on-screen’s trysts with. However, Harrington has insisted that there is nothing romantic between the pair, and that they are just close friends.

“All rumor and myth. Me and Rose [Leslie] are very, very close and very good friends. And continue to be, actually. She’s wonderful. But no, no love affair.”

Meanwhile, over the last few days it had been widely suggested that he was on “a collision course” of romance with Emilia Clarke too. Clarke and Harrington haven’t actually shared any screen time on Game Of Thrones, but the duo are known to be good friends off-screen.

However, when he was asked if they were on the brink of starting a relationship, Harrington is believed to have raised an eyebrow and declared, “Don’t believe everything you read.”

Harrington also explained that he and Clarke, alongside their fellow Game of Thrones star Alfie Allen, have been friends for years after the trio grew up in close proximity to each other in London.

Harrington then declared that even if he was in a relationship with either Leslie or Clarke, he wouldn’t tell the press about it. He believes that this is a recipe for disaster, as it would mean that media outlets would then be vigorously vying for stories regarding his love life. And this is something that he is simply not interested in.

“On a serious level, I wouldn’t tell the press if I was in a relationship or not. I wouldn’t ever reveal that, because it takes you down a certain road… I have no desire to be courting the press with my love life. It’s not my job, it’s not who I am — and I actually think it’s more fun for everyone to speculate. The minute I start telling people things are true or not true, then it’s just boring.”
