Lady Gaga Picks Up Four MTV Europe Music Awards


It was a big night for Lady Gaga after she picked up four awards during the MTV Europe Music Awards including a nod for best song (“Born This Way”).

After winning one of her awards she told the audience:

“Thank you for believing in my vision; the success of Born This Way has changed my life.”

Among the singers other awards were nods in the best female performer, best video and best fan supported categories.

Gaga also took to the stage to perform her song “Marry The Night” in which she wore a satellite-themed costume while performing on top of a giant moon sculpture.

Also in attendance was Justin Bieber who performed Under the Mistletoe as a show opener and then sat in the audience to support the shows host and current girlfriend Selena Gomez.

Also receiving some of the nights top awards was Bruno Mars (best push and best new categories), Katy Perry (best live act) and Linkin Park (best rock act).

In a surprising win BigBang won the best worldwide category over current songstress of the moment Adele who’s songs have dominated airwaves in many places around the world.

The biggest performance of the night? Queen took to the stage to perform a medley of their various hits.
