Lamar Odom And Khloe Kardashian Reportedly Still In Close Contact, Trying To Avoid Divorce

Lamar Odom was rumored to have dropped out of contact with the Kardashians, spending weeks without speaking to his estranged wife Khloe or her family members.

Now, sources say the exact opposite is true.

Lamar and Khloe are rumored to be in close contact as they discuss the possibility of rekindling their romance that flamed out last year. In 2013, Khloe had announced her intention to divorce Lamar, who reportedly refused to address his struggles with substance abuse and reportedly had extramarital affairs.

But now it appears that the couple may be able to get past their difficulties and try to make the marriage work again.

“Our insider reveals that the former couple is in fact in contact with one another, albeit sporadically, even though he has yet to sign the divorce papers or file his own petition response with the court,” E! Online reported.

The sources say that divorce papers remain unsigned, leading some to believe that they are quietly trying to make things work again.

Khloe Kardashian had hinted earlier this year that she had no ill feelings about the relationship ending.

“Your life is meant for you to understand and process, not to make anyone else happy,” she told Cosmopolitan magazine in April.

“I don’t have any regrets … you learn as you go.”

Khloe added, “I live for the moment. If you think too far in the future, you might get disappointed or set the bar too low. It sucks at times, but everything happens for a reason, no matter how s****y your circumstances are.”

Just two months before that interview, Lamar Odom made it known that he’s not giving up on Khloe Kardashian either.

“I love my wife. She’ll always be my wife, no matter what,” Odom told Us Weekly in February. “Who knows? We don’t know exactly if [the divorce is going through]. Only time will tell. I hope not. But even if we were divorced, she would always be my wife.”

If the sources are correct then Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian are still married — and could be staying that way permanently.
