Battlefield 3 ‘Back to Karkand’ gameplay trailer

DICE has released a new gameplay video for Battlefield 3‘s first expansion, one that I am super excited for, Back to Karkand.

In case you’re just now hearing about the expansion, Back to Karkand adds in four classic Battlefield 2 maps, including Strike at Karkand, Sharqi Peninsula and Gulf of Oman. Additionally, you’ll get a re-imagining of one of Battlefield‘s most iconic maps, Wake Island.

As was recently revealed, players will also be able to get ten weapons originally found in Battlefield 2, including the famous L96A1 sniper rifle, which you Counter-Strike players may know as the predecessor to the AWP. You’ll also get 5 new dog tags, five new achievements and three new vehicles.

The Battlefield 3 ‘Back to Karkand’ DLC is due out on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 at some point in December.
