Alfonso Ribeiro Does The Rumba on ‘DWTS’ And Announces Wife’s Pregnancy (VIDEO)
Actor Alfonso Ribeiro had a great night on Dancing with the Stars Monday night – scoring 36 points out of 40 with the Rumba that he performed with his partner, professional dancer Witney Carson.

However, his high score was not the only numbers that Alfonso Ribeiro revealed during the live broadcast. Shortly after receiving his score from the judges, the 43-year old actor and former game show host revealed that he was celebrating his son’s first birthday as well as his wife’s second pregnancy.
“My son, it’s his first birthday today. So I’m so happy that he’s here with me. And, as a wonderful present, my wife and I decided to get him a little brother or sister. So, we’re having a baby!…I wanted to announce it here on the show….I love my wife.”
Alfonso Ribeiro was able to talk about the pregnancy a lot more during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, stating that they “couldn’t hold” the pregnancy news any longer.
“We couldn’t hold [the pregnancy] any longer… It was really cool that Dancing With the Stars let me announce it tonight on air. It’s something that I wanted to say here. It’s so close to us now that to be able to announce it was very cool.”
Ribeiro was very careful not to reveal too much information about his wife’s second pregnancy to the public, especially during the live broadcast of Dancing with the Stars. According to his interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Alfonso did not want people to “start doing the math.” He did, however, disclose that they are “definitely along” and “things are coming quickly” with the pregnancy.
“She’s a ways’… We’re not giving the date, obviously, because people start doing the math, but we’re definitely along. We’re moving, so things are coming quickly.”
Alfonso Ribeiro and Angela Unkrich became engaged in July of 2012 and had an October wedding the same year. Their first child together, Alfonso Ribeiro, Jr., was born one year later in October of 2013.

Including the daughter that he had in his first marriage (Sierra), this new bundle of joy will be the third child for Alfonso Ribeiro.
