‘Batman v Superman’ Details Leaked: Kryptonite Suit, Shirtless Scene And Trailer

There are still over 500 days left until Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is released in theaters. However, quite a few details about the movie have been leaked and confirmed in recent months.

According to Batman News, an anonymous source recently spoke to Rehan Jalali – the trainer working with Ben Affleck to improve his physique and keep him in Batman shape. Jalali allegedly revealed quite a few Batman v Superman details in that conversation, which have now been leaked online.

Batman News reports that there are officially two different Batsuits worn by Ben Affleck in Batman v Superman. The first suit is the more “traditional” suit which was shown in a picture leaked by Zack Snyder earlier this year.

Fans who saw the teaser footage shown at San Diego Comic-Con 2014 have already seen a brief glimpse of the second suit – the armored Batsuit.

The armored suit that will be worn by Batman reportedly “has Kryptonite all over it.” In addition, it is capable of shooting missiles.

Batman News states that the armored suit is similar in design to the suit Batman wore in his battle against Superman in the Frank Miller graphic novel, The Dark Knight Returns.

Many fans and critics were impressed by Henry Cavill’s shirtless scenes in the 2013 film, Man of Steel. According to Batman News, Ben Affleck will have at least one shirtless scene in Batman v Superman“to show off his new physique.”

Earlier this year, when promoting her movie Draft Day, Jennifer Garner told We Got This Covered found a subtle way to say that her husband Ben Affleck worked out twice a day and had 17-inch biceps as a result.

“I’ll tell you that there is a man working out at my house right now, I’m sure, for his second time today. And he has 17-inch biceps.”

In an interview with ITV, according to Daily Mail, Ben Affleck admitted that he needed to hide his Batman v Superman physique while filming the hit David Fincher-directed film, Gone Girl, since his character was supposed to appear “out of shape, hungover and puffy.”

“I was trying to juggle this thing because that character is supposed to be out of shape, hungover and and puffy and I had to train ahead of time for that movie [Batman] for about a year.”

According to Slimming Solutions, the 42-year old actor followed an intense workout schedule of “five or six hardcore gym sessions per work” that lasted between three and four hours each. To bulk up, he also stuck to a daily diet of 5,000 calories. The website also featured a “before and after” shot of Ben Affleck so Batman v Superman fans could get a glimpse of how his hard work paid off.

Batman News also revealed details about the “beautifully shot” shirtless scene which shows Ben Affleck overlooking a destroyed city, which could possibly be Metropolis.

As reported by the Inquisitr, the first official trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be featured along with The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies when it is released in theaters on December 17, 2014. A report released by Comic Book Movie confirms that the trailer is expected to be “Batman heavy.”
