Ebola: NYC Boy Being Tested For Deadly Virus After Family Trip To Guinea

A New York City boy is being tested for Ebola. The 5-year-old NYC boy just returned from a trip to Guinea with his family. The country is in the heart of the Ebola outbreak zone in West Africa.

The unidentified NYC boy is currently being held in an isolation unit at Bellevue Hospital. The 5-year-old boy arrived back in the United States on Saturday. The little boy reportedly had a 103 degree fever. The child is not under quarantine, according to ABC News. The child was vomiting before being transported from the Bronx to Bellevue by emergency responders.

Ebola test results on the NYC boy will reportedly be available in the next 12 hours.
