James Franco Will Hold Seance To Contact Tennessee Williams

James Franco is a lifetime student, movie and TV actor and apparently a master of the afterlife. The modern day renaissance man has announced that he will hold a seance on November 13 to conjure Tennessee Williams.

The seance will take place in New York City and will be helped along by Artist Laurel Nakadate during a presentation titled Three Performances in Search of Tennessee. The project is inspired by Tennessee Williams’ 1944 play The Glass Menagerie and of course Franco’s desire to bring him back from the dead.

According to PopCrunch:

The “Beyond-the-Grave” experience is all apart of Performa, a bi-annual New York City performance art festival.

The Act I performance will be where James Franco leads the seance with a Ouija board to bring back Williams from the dead at which point acts II and III will watch as performers audition for the leading roles of Laura and Tom in Menagerie while Franco reads for the leading role in The Gentleman Caller.

Does this experimental play seem like something you would be willing to pay money for to see?
