‘The Bachelor’ Engagement: Which Former Contestant Gets To Start Wedding Planning?

There have been a lot of developments in the land of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette lately, and now, an engagement reveal is making many fans smile. Which contestant just accepted a proposal? Some fans have been waiting for this one for a while, and they are very excited for this former contestant.

Lindsay Yenter left Sean Lowe’s season of The Bachelor broken-hearted, but she found love soon after leaving the show. Lindsay has been dating a guy named Karl Swanson for some time now, and it seems he has just proposed. Naturally, Lindsay said yes.

Yenter shared the big news via Instagram, posting a photo of her ring. She said she’ll share more details soon, but that she’s on the top of the world right now. She also wrote, “You mean I wasn’t dreaming?”

Karl and Lindsay have been a couple cleary in love for quite some time now, so this The Bachelor star engagement doesn’t come as a huge surprise to those fans who have continued to follow her after her season ended. Of course, fans of the franchise know that Sean Lowe married Catherine Giudici, his pick on that season, last January.

This engagement comes in the midst of a flurry of news coming from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette stars. Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell split talk is buzzing across social media after some posts from both reality TV starts got people wondering.

On the other hand, both Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray, along with Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried, seem to be heading toward their own walks down the aisle. In addition, Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum just welcomed their first baby, Fordham Rhys.

Though Yenter may feel like she is dreaming as she looks at her ring, it doesn’t exactly come out of left field. Earlier in the year, she talked with Wetpaint about her relationship with Karl and their plans for the future.

Lindsay shared, earlier this year, that while she wasn’t engaged to Karl yet, the two had already done some ring shopping, and she knew this would be a big year for her. They had started out their relationship as a long-distance one, but some time ago they got a house and moved in together in San Diego. She seems to believe that indeed everything happens for a reason, and it’s clear she’s healed and moved on from her Sean Lowe heartbreak.

Though The Bachelor fans will have to wait a bit to get the scoop on the engagement and any wedding plans, fans are most definitely happy for Lindsay Yenter and Karl Swanson on their big news.
