Is ‘Teen Mom’ Amber Portwood Engaged?
Amber Portwood has been dating in secret for months, and now a new report claims the Teen Mom star may be engaged to her mystery man.
Following her November 2013 prison release, Portwood has been focused on her daughter and her future career, but she’s also made time for new love, which she’s shared, very cautiously, online. However, while the reality star has posted about her new boyfriend, she has yet to reveal his name or his face.
In her most recent Twitter posting Amber Portwood shared a photo of the wrists of herself and her man, which featured a set of new tattoos. The tattoos, which read “Vero Amore,” translated into “True Love,” and were surrounded by small hearts. However, what was most notable about the photo wasn’t the tattoos — it was the ring on what appeared to be on the ring finger of Portwood’s left hand.
“[Amber Portwood] shared a photo last night of her new matching tattoo that she had done along with a mystery man. Not only that, but you can see a ring on ‘that’ finger,” Starcasm reported on October 24.
After the photo was shared, one fan accused her new man of being a “d***hebag” and told the young mother she’d regret her tattoo. In response, Portwood said, “No I won’t and he’s definitely not a d***he bag he’s an amazing man…opposite of what I’ve been with in the past..love.”
In a September 1 interview with Starcasm, Portwood opened up about her new boyfriend.
“I have been talking specifically to one person and I really do feel like I love him, but we’re not together. We’re taking things really SLOW,” she explained at the time. “I have to get myself back in gear and tell myself, ‘Ok, I can trust men, I just have to not be naive.’ That’s a problem that I have because I’m very naive when it comes to love… I do believe that I trust this man. I hope that I can trust him.”
Also in the interview, as reported by The Inquisitr, Portwood claimed she and Gary Shirley no longer have a personal relationship. “We don’t really argue anymore because we don’t have that personal relationship anymore. [That’s] a good thing,” she explained.
In other Amber Portwood news, her daughter’s father, Shirley, is reportedly expecting his second child. As The Inquisitr reported, Shirley’s current girlfriend, Kristina Anderson, is said to be pregnant. The news, however, has yet to be confirmed by either Shirley or Anderson.
