Beyonce And Jay Z Looking For Houses In Paris, Enrolling Blue Ivy In French Lessons

Beyoncé and Jay Z are reportedly ready to move daughter Blue Ivy to the City of Lights.

The power couple is reportedly doing some house hunting in Paris and have been making plans for their 2-year-old daughter Blue Ivy to enroll in a French school there.

Paris holds quite a special place for Beyoncé and Jay Z. The couple has traveled there frequently, most recently for a two-day finale of their summer “On The Run” joint tour.

As Jay Z explained to the crowd at the final concert, Paris has an even more, well, special meaning for Blue Ivy.

“We got engaged here and this is where baby Blue was conceived,” he shared.

Sources say the couple isn’t just looking for a European hideaway — they want to eventually live there permanently.

“They want to buy a place in Paris because they have so many memories there and they want to be able to be there more often,” and insider tells Us Weekly. “They plan on retiring in Paris eventually.”

The house hunting is a far cry from the rumors facing Beyoncé and Jay Z earlier this summer, when a number of reports indicated that they were headed for divorce. The tension reportedly started when Beyoncé’s sister Solange attacked Jay Z at a party following the Met Gala, with insiders saying she was mad at Jay Z’s cheating.

After that, a steady stream of reports noted the growing problems between the couple with a number of alleged affairs coming to light for Jay Z. At one point, reports even indicated that Beyoncé had divorce papers drawn up and ready to go at the end of their tour.

But Beyoncé and Jay Z have instead solidified their relationship at the end of the tour. Just before they went house hunting in Paris, the couple took time to renew their wedding vows.
