‘Teen Mom 2’ Season Six Filming Not Delayed, Claims Source

Teen Mom 2 Season 6 will soon begin filming. Although one report claimed filming was delayed because of the drama playing out in the life of Leah Calvert, a new source claims production is moving forward as scheduled.

“Filming hasn’t been pushed back,” a source confirmed to Hollywood Life on October 23. “They just haven’t finished contract stuff. But they don’t have a set start date or anything yet.” Expected to return to the series, in addition to Calvert, are Chelsea Houska, Kail Lowry and Jenelle Evans.

On October 22, The Ashleys Reality Roundup claimed MTV delayed filming on Teen Mom 2 Season 6 because Calvert and her husband, Jeremy, weren’t yet on board. According to the report, none of the girls had began filming — and it was all Calvert’s fault.

“Leah is the reason that filming has not begun on Season 6,” the site reported. “Despite the fact that this Leah/Jeremy/Robbie love triangle would be equal to ratings gold, they can’t capture it all on film because Leah has yet to return her contract.”

“Jeremy is not planning on doing the next season, at least at this point,” the site added.

Calvert’s troubles began on Friday, when her husband made claims on Twitter that she had engaged in an affair with her ex-boyfriend Robbie Kidd. Calvert immediately denied her husband’s claims, telling fans he heard a rumor and believed it, but judging by their recent Twitter activity, the couple is heading for a divorce.

Earlier this week, Jeremy removed the Teen Mom 2 star from his Twitter profile photo and replaced her with one of his daughter, Adalynn Faith. He also removed a photo from his Twitter headline. Days later, as The Inquisitr reported, Leah followed suit, also changing her profile photo to one of her twin girls, Ali and Aleeah. The photo had previously been a group shot of herself, Jeremy, the twins and Adalynn.

Also on Twitter, Jeremy slammed Clavert’s alleged fling Robbie, telling her, as reported by The Inquisitr, “[Bet] he can’t do this,” along with a photo of his dirty bike in the back of his truck. Jeremy also added, “lmfao you sure made a great choice he can’t buy a big Mac[sic].”

Teen Mom 2 is expected to return to MTV for Season 6 sometime in 2015. Also returning to MTV is the original series, Teen Mom, which will feature three of its former cast members, Catelynn Lowell, Maci Bookout and Amber Portwood. Porn star Farrah Abraham was not included in the show’s fifth season.
