Pictures posted by rapper Rick Ross caused a frenzy on Instagram. The popular rapper posted pics of his dramatic weight loss. The Examiner reports that he has lost at least 100 pounds.
Health scares caused the Ross to approach Tim Westwood about starting a workout routine and a new diet plan. Back in 2011, Ross suffered two seizures. Both seizures happened on airplane flights and left him unconscious. CPR was necessary to revive him.
"The most I used to do for exercise was stand up to count the money. Now they give me fruit to eat, I forgot what fruit tasted like. I eat pears now and shit like that. Shout out to all the pear eaters," Ross said.
Gossiponthis.com reports that Ross continues to eat the way he wants to and that includes his fave lemon pepper wings. To stay in shape and still eat his wings, Ross does CrossFit but he has renamed it 'Ross Fit.' From the looks of it, the new routine is clearly working out for him.
Ross admits to being a former couch potato, but now says he enjoys the CrossFit training. He does admit that the training is tough.
Ross, who is 38, has been training with CrossFit for over a year now.
"We had started doing it last year. The most I used to do for exercise was stand up to count the money, you know what I'm saying? And also, you know, I've been doing this CrossFit thing, you know, shout-out to Reebok, we had started doing that, you know, last year, sometime and you know, it's just catching up a little bit. It was just time for me to tighten up a little bit, you know what I'm saying. As far as, you know, me working out... I have no destination, no specific weight." Ross told 93.9 WKYS FM back in June.
Many celebrities are jumping on the Paleo and Atkins bandwagons that make you change your lifestyle around. Ross has taken another path and really made little changes to the way that he lives his life. He does, however, eat far less junk food and a lot more fruit. Gossiponthis.com reports that Ross eats smaller portions and has made exercise a priority in his life.
According to Gossiponthis.com, Ross doesn't have a weight loss goal but he is proud of how far he has come. Rick Ross is literally half the man he used to be!
