Catelynn Lowell Shows Off Her Growing Baby Bump
Catelynn Lowell is pregnant and glowing. In a new Twitter photo, the Teen Mom star proudly showed off her baby bump, which has grown substantially since her pregnancy reveal in August.
Lowell “is around seven months pregnant with her second daughter (she placed her first child up for adoption during MTV’s 16 and Pregnant) and she could not be more excited about entering mommyhood,” Wetpaint Entertainment reported on October 22. Lowell “might not be due until January, but she definitely looks like she’s ready to give birth.”
The photo shared on Twitter featured Lowell and Baltierra in front of the Michigan’s Cre8tive Cupcake shop, where they plan to get their wedding cake. Although the couple called off their July 2013 wedding during their stint on VH1’s Couples Therapy, they are now back on track and excited to tie the knot in 2015.
As The Inquisitr reported, Lowell and Baltierra announced her second pregnancy on Aug. 6 along with Lowell’s first baby bump photo. Weeks later, on Aug. 16, The Inquisitr reported they were having another baby girl.
Months after they welcome their baby girl, whose name will begin with the letter “V,” Lowell and Baltierra will walk down the aisle. “They’ve rescheduled the wedding for next spring, after the baby comes,” an insider told In Touch Weekly via RadarOnline, on Aug. 13. “They said they’d been pressured by producers and their managers… to get married on TV.”
Also on Aug. 13, Us Weekly reported Teen Mom would return to MTV for a fifth season in 2015. On board for the upcoming season were Catelynn Lowell, Maci Bookout and Amber Portwood. Former star Farrah Abraham was left out of the announcement.
“I feel like documenting this pregnancy is totally different, because now it’s our time to be parents,” Lowell told the magazine. “Tyler and I have always done the show to help people. Now people can see what it will be like to juggle the responsibilities of taking care of our new baby while navigating our relationship with Carly and her adoptive parents.”
Although Lowell wasn’t ready for motherhood the first time around, baby number two will be different. “This time, we’re ready to be parents,” Lowell assured In Touch. “We’re 22, have full-time jobs, a four-bedroom house and a solid relationship. There’s no doubt in our minds that it will still be hard — but we’re ready. I’m excited to be pregnant [now] and to go pick out baby clothes and do everything I couldn’t do last time!”
