Kate Middleton Shows Off Barely Noticeable Baby Bump After Spending Weeks Out Of The Public Eye

Kate Middleton spent the last several weeks hiding away as she recovered from symptoms of Hyperemesis Gravidarum, which plagued her with severe morning sickness. The Duchess of Cambridge cancelled a number of official appearances in an attempt to nurse herself back to health.

However, this morning she was back in the limelight when she joined Prince William to officially greet the President of Singapore, Tony Tan Keng Yam, at the Royal Garden Hotel in London. While there were many that appeared to welcome the President of Singapore, many more were there to get a glimpse of Kate Middleton’s bulbous belly, only to be surprised at what they saw.

Kate Middleton stepped out wearing a luxurious coat dress created by Alexander McQueen, showing that she is still representing the pinnacle of fashion despite her recent illness. Her trademark smile was ever present and her statuesque poise radiated royalty. Even when a small gust of wind blew up her dress, causing it to raise reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe, Kate Middleton did not miss a beat. However, anxious onlookers noticed that her belly was barely bulbous; instead, only a slight baby bump showed through her wardrobe.

Kate Middleton is only about three months into her pregnancy, which explains the small protrusion of her belly. However, her time out of the spotlight has coerced expectations of a larger bulge where her unborn child awaits arrival into the world. It has been easy to forget how long she has been hidden away from the world, but she looked ravishing during her first public appearance in weeks.

The Duchess of Cambridge plans to be back to work full time, assuming her health holds up, and she is excited to serve publicly once again.

“I’ve been looking forward to getting out of the house, that’s for sure.”

Kate Middleton is still experiencing some effects from morning sickness, but she is slowly gaining her health back. Future engagements will be announced as they occur and most likely not far in advance to avoid disappointment if she cannot attend. Prince William is planning a trip to New York within the next month and hopes Kate will be able to stand by his side. However, a royal spokesperson shared that her attendance will be reviewed closer to the trip date.

“Her engagements are being reviewed on a case by case basis. Any future engagements will be announced in due course.”
