Bethenny Frankel: ‘I Have Decided To Return To My Roots On ‘RHONY”

Bethenny Frankel is one of the original housewives of New York, and many people missed her after she left the show after the third season. On that particular season, tensions blew over between Frankel and her former best friend, Jill Zarin. In addition, Frankel was there as the cameras captured the scary island episode with Kelly Bensimon.

Bethenny Frankel left the show to do her own spin-off for three seasons. She then decided to film a talk show in New York, which was produced by Ellen DeGeneres. After ratings were unexpectedly low, the show was cancelled. Frankel has been working on her Skinnygirl business since then, but it sounds like the path back to Bravo was there all along.

According to a new report from Bethenny Frankel’s own website, Bethenny Frankel is revealing her own personal thoughts about returning to The Real Housewives of New York. On her social media accounts, Bethenny hinted of her return, writing that every time she was on The Real Housewives of New York, she was never actually a housewife. She is currently in the divorce process from her estranged husband, Jason Hoppy.

“After many years of hesitation, I have decided to return to my roots on ‘The Real Housewives of New York City.’ I have been through a long and arduous road since my departure, and I’m finally coming out on the other side. It finally feels right to go home again,” Bethenny writes on her website.

Frankel has often tried to deny her return to the show. Just last week, she released a statement, saying that she had been keeping in contact with Andy Cohen about doing something with him for his own production company. Bethenny never outright denied that she was returning to the show, but she did try to hint that she would much rather be a part of the Atlanta housewives.

“After my talk show ended, I really had doubts about ever going back to television. I’ve been through a lot personally, and I wasn’t sure I wanted to expose myself to any more public scrutiny. That said, I’ve been so fortunate to be able to connect with the audience and inspire them to fulfill their wildest dreams. I learned a lot about myself through that experience. I really need to be able to express myself freely and creatively; I like when no two days are the same, and I don’t thrive when being filtered or edited,” Bethenny Frankel added.

According to The Inquisitr, Sonja Morgan has expressed excitement over her possible return to the show. Bethenny Frankel will film with Carole Radziwill, Heather Thomson, Kristen Taekman, LuAnn de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, and Ramona Singer. Aviva Drescher isn’t listed as a returning cast member.
