Janel Parrish Helps Val Chmerkovskiy Get Chest Waxed, Stars In Lifetime Movie ‘High School Possession’ [Video]

Janel Parrish obviously wants her Dancing with the Stars partner to look good without his shirt — Val Chmerkovskiy’s hot bod might be helping her score a few extra votes week after week.

Most DWTS fans probably think Val looks perfectly fine just the way he is, but unfortunately for the pro dancer, Janel Parrish decided that he needed a little manscaping to make his chest look its very best. The Pretty Little Liars star shared an Instagram video of Val Chmerkovskiy’s first pec waxing, and it didn’t look like a very pleasant experience. Janel goes a little Fifty Shades of Grey in the video below by grabbing Val’s hair and yanking his head back.

“Today @iamvalc had his first wax. I volunteered to be there for moral support. And also to film it and make fun of him.”

As The Inquisitr previously reported, there’s been speculation that Janel and Val are dating. Parrish and her boyfriend of a year and a half, Payson Lewis, recently broke up, and many Dancing with the Stars fans believe that Val Chmerkovskiy played a part in the split. The pro dancer and Janel Parrish were even spotted out on a double date with Maks Chmerkovskiy and Meryl Davis.

Parrish and Chmerkovskiy denied that they were dating while taking a lie detector test on Access Hollywood, and of course, the machine just happened to quit working whenever the pair was asked about the romance rumors.

During the Access Hollywood interview, Janel also talked about her upcoming Lifetime movie, High School Possession, which is actually not about a possessive boyfriend or a high school cheerleader’s quest to get her life back on track after being arrested for drug possession. Instead, Lifetime is getting in the Halloween spirit with a movie about exorcism. Parrish told Billy Bush that her High School Possession character is nothing like her Pretty Little Liars character.

“I’m not creepy for once. This time I’m playing the complete opposite of the creepy villain.”

According to Just Jared, Janel Parrish plays a high school newspaper editor named Lauren in the Lifetime movie. Lauren decides to do an expose on various school cliques, and she ends up shadowing a girl named Olivia (Shanley Caswell) and her church youth group. It turns out that the Bible-thumpers don’t just wear WWJD bracelets and get together to pray before school — they call themselves “The Chosen,” and they’d rather perform exorcisms than attend Bible study.

Lauren catches The Chosen performing an exorcism on a girl, and she’s surprised that the ritual actually seems to be effective. As it so happens, Lauren’s BFF Chloe (Jennifer Stone) is exhibiting behavior that seems to suggest that she might also be possessed, and Lauren enlists The Chosen to help her perform an exorcism on her pal. However, the church group’s leader Olivia might not have Chloe’s best interests in mind. High School Possession premieres October 25 at 8 p.m. ET.

Halloween is coming up, so perhaps Janel Parrish’s new movie will inspire the routine that she and Val Chmerkovskiy do for the Dancing with the Stars Halloween episode — a dance inspired by The Exorcist would be incredibly creepy. According to an ABC press release, the Dancing with the Stars Halloween episode will air October 27. This week Janel and the other competitors will be dancing to songs chosen by Pitbull, including a few of the rapper’s own tunes. Pitbull will also serve as a guest judge.
