Amanda Bynes Hates Her Parents For Betraying Her After Psych Hold

Amanda Bynes is not ready to forgive her parents for tricking her into a psychiatric hold. As The Inquisitr reported, after Bynes’ hurtful Twitter rant, accusing her father of sexually abusing her, the Nickelodeon star’s parents decided to take action.

Amanda’s parents enlisted Bynes’ pal and Britney Spears’ old handler Sam Lutfi to draw her out of New York to Los Angeles. Lutfi convinced the star to fly out of New York and, when she landed, to take car service to a California law office so she could confront her parents. Instead her driver was instructed to bring Bynes to a mental facility. When she arrived Bynes was restrained and involuntarily committed to the facility.

It’s been confirmed by TMZ that Lutfi worked with Bynes’ parents to make this happen but Amanda is taking issue with her parents over her second psych hold. According to a source close to this tragic event, Amanda “feels utterly betrayed and says her relationship with her parents is ‘destroyed forever.'”

It’s said that she’s always had a messy relationship with her father, even before her tweets, but Bynes had “warm feelings” for her mother, until she was tricked into the psych hold. It’s believed that Bynes’ parents will try to get another conservatorship while she’s in the facility to make the decisions regarding her health and legal troubles. Her psych hold has been extended for two weeks to give her parents ample time.

After Bynes accused her father of sexually and emotionally abusing her, the star’s mother came forward to release a statement, defending her husband Rick Bynes. Through her attorney Tamar Arminak, Lynn Bynes made a statement to E!.

“I am heartbroken today for my husband of 47 years. Rick has been the best father and husband a family can ask for. He has never abused Amanda or our other children physically or sexually. These accusations are absolutely horrible and could not be further from the truth! These allegations stem from Amanda’s mental state at the moment. They have no basis in reality. It saddens me beyond belief that my husband’s character could be slandered in such a way.”

Shortly after these allegations were denied, Bynes backtracked on her Twitter and said it was a microchip in her brain making her say all of these things. Just for the record, those close to Amanda have denied that she’s bipolar or schizophrenic, which were the two alleged mental health problems that Bynes was rumored to being treated for during the first stint from her 5150 psychiatric hold.

Bynes seemed to be doing fine after she sought out treatment and enrolled in college classes, but apparently that was short lived. When Amanda was arrested for a DUI on September 30, her parents admitted that they knew nothing about Amanda’s whereabouts.
