‘Adulteress’ Stripped, Beaten In Busy Shopping Mall, Dozens Watch But Don’t Help

A woman was stripped naked and beaten in a busy Chinese shopping mall after she was accused of sleeping with someone else’s husband.

The alleged adulteress was shockingly attacked in broad daylight but people walking past and watching simply just ignored her pleas as she was viciously stripped and set upon.

38-year-old Lin Yao Li was the latest to be targeted in the city of Puyang, in eastern China’s Henan Province. It’s believed that four women beat her as she sauntered back to her home from the shops.

However the individuals who saw the beating take place didn’t respond because it has now become a social norm in the area as, according to The Mirror, “there is an acceptance that love cheats are deserving of a beating, having caused a man to cheat on his partner.”

Li was not only kicked and punched by her gaggle of abusers who reportedly targeted her breasts and groin, but they also started to rip off her clothes as well. The attack was instigated by the wife of the man Li slept with, while she also coerced three of her friends to join in too.

30-year-old Jun Feung, a local man who witnessed the ordeal unfold, admitted that this kind of attack has become quite normal. While Li was being beaten dozens upon dozens of people gathered around and didn’t assist, and Feung, who eventually helped her back to her feet, admitted that this is now “quite normal.”

“This type of thing is becoming quite normal. Angry wives and girlfriends get their revenge on their cheating men by attacking the other woman. People don’t tend to get involved because they see it as being an argument of the heart.”

Li was later taken to hospital where she was treated for severe bruises, deep cuts, and she was in a deep state shock, too.

There have been numerous attacks in the same vein over the last few months. A couple of weeks ago, another woman was jumped on by a rival wearing a stiletto, while there have been a variety of copycat beatings.

Users on the Chinese social website, Weibo, have been discussing the situation. Most commentators have condemned the brutality, with one writing, “Who gives them the right to decide? For all we know one of the women attacking could be the mistress and the woman on the ground the wife!”
