Teresa Giudice Divorce Coming? Joe’s Excessive Drinking Causing ‘Real’ Problems
Teresa Giudice could be filing for divorce from Joe Giudice, if the latest round of rumors are true. The Real Housewives Of New Jersey stars were both sentenced to prison on October 2, and after Joe admitted that he has a drinking problem on Watch What Happens Live, divorce rumors kicked up all over again. Despite the fact that Teresa and Joe have put their united front out there for all to see, Radar Online reports that something is up between the jail-bound couple.
“It’s really sad. Most nights Joe stays downstairs long after Teresa and the girls have gone to bed. He usually drinks a lot of wine, and ends up passing out on the couch. When it first started happening, Teresa told him to at least make an effort to come upstairs before the girls got up in the morning. She didn’t want the girls to see their dad on the couch first thing.”
Joe and Teresa Giudice have been struggling, that’s for sure. While they have stuck together and leaned on each other during this difficult time, things aren’t easy. Naturally, that puts a fair amount of strain on a marriage. Is divorce the answer? It’s probably pointless right now, but some say that it is inevitable.
“Joe did this for awhile, but in recent months, he just doesn’t even care what Teresa wants. He is beyond pretending that everything is fine behind closed doors. His feeling is, it’s his house for the time being, and will sleep wherever he wants. The fact Joe chooses NOT to share a bed with Teresa speaks volumes about the state of their marriage,” the source added.
Teresa will be going to jail to serve 15 months just after the new year. When she completes her prison sentence (likely at Camp Cupcake, according to The Inquisitr), Joe Giudice will start serving his 41-month sentence. That’s a long time for two people to be apart — another reason that they might end up splitting down the road.
Teresa Giudice needs to do what is best for her and for her family (it’s better late than never). It is hard to believe that she would divorce Joe, but who knows? Sources say she isn’t going to make any legal moves before she goes to prison — she doesn’t want any issues when it comes to her four daughters visiting her. According to The International Business Times, there is a lot of stress between the couple right now — but that’s understandable. Their lives are about to change forever… but will their marriage be able to withstand said changes? Only time will tell.
