Miranda Lambert And Blake Shelton Are Inviting You To Their House
Is Miranda Lambert on your shortlist of modern country favorites? Well, she’s inviting you over — though you’ll have to make a trip to Tishomingo, Oklahoma, where Lambert and her husband Blake Shelton live, to get there. Oh, and you might need to make a reservation.

Miranda’s new bed and breakfast has brought what is probably the most luxurious thing that the 3,034-population town of Tishomingo has to offer, but that’s not stay Lambert has skimped because of a low level of competition. The rooms are all scrupulously designed in Miranda’s self-proclaimed “shabby chic meets rock & roll” style, but that’s not to say there’s any love lost for Lambert and Blake’s country roots in The Ladysmith’s interior. For every bohemian throw pillow tossed around the joint, there’s a line of cow skulls running down a weather-worn brick wall.
Rates for rooms at Miranda’s new venture range from $200 to $320 per night. Keeping up with the lovebird reputation that Lambert and Shelton have enjoyed as one of country’s elite couples, Miranda is offering a slew of special romantic packages — including an intimate wedding ceremony that will only run you about $500, or a large one that will set you back $2,000.
Innkeeper Staci Addison describes the experience as though they were lyrics to a long-forgotten Miranda song.
“From the moment you arrive, we aim to provide you with a unique experience and a taste of southern hospitality. Upon check-in, the innkeeper will greet you with a warm welcome and fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies. Each morning of your stay, you’ll be treated to a made-from-scratch breakfast served up hot in the inviting 2nds Please dining hall.”
Of course, Lambert fans kicking around the idea of taking a trip to Tishomingo just to have a peak inside what Miranda qualifies as “shabby chic” must also be asking themselves what Tishomingo has to offer as tourist destination. If you’re going purely for the possibility of a Shelton and Lambert sighting, your chances of an intimate encounter are probably more likely considering the town’s population is lower than some of Miranda and Blake’s sold-out shows. Additionally, The Ladysmith’s website notes that guests may take a trip to nearby Lake Texoma, shop along the main street, or gamble at one of the local casinos. Lambert’s store The Pink Pistol is right across the street.
