‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Spoilers: Huge Maggie Drama Is Coming

Grey’s Anatomy is heating things up during Season 11 with the arrival of Maggie. Ellis Grey had another daughter no one knew about, but that secret is now out. Maggie told Meredith about their connection, and Maggie then learned that Richard Webber was her birth father at the end of the last episode. Both revelations shocked the person finding out the news. Meredith accused Maggie of lying, and Maggie lashed out at Richard for not telling her he was her father when she told him about Ellis Grey. There is more drama on the way for the trio on Grey’s, according to Kelly McCreary.

McCreary spoke with Cosmopolitan about her role on Grey’s Anatomy, and Richard will not have it easy. Maggie was not coming to Seattle to find her father. She came to the city to meet her sister and learn more about her birth mother. Finding her birth father was not even a thought in her mind. Kelly McCreary teased to the magazine that things will “continue to be difficult on both sides” during upcoming episodes of Grey’s Anatomy.

However, the actress teased even more about the drama ahead on Grey’s Anatomy for Maggie and Richard to Entertainment Weekly. She was not at all happy to find out that the man was her father. McCreary offered fans a bit of a Grey’s teaser when she spoke to the magazine.

“She’s too upset. She doesn’t trust him. There aren’t a lot of reasons for her to want to stay at this point. There are a lot of reasons for her to go home.”

McCreary is only listed as a guest star on Grey’s Anatomy for the moment, but that could change as the season progresses. The actress revealed that Shonda Rhimes first thought of Maggie during Season 3.

Grey’s Anatomy Season 11, Episode 4, titled “Only Mama Knows,” will air on Thursday night, and there are new photos and a sneak peek released for the episode. The drama on this episode will focus on Meredith and Derek. The couple is hitting a rough patch after his job offer in Washington D.C. Meredith does not want to leave Seattle. Derek is not happy about staying.

Tension will rise between the two of them, and Meredith will discover more about her mother’s past when she digs through her mother’s old journals to find out more about Maggie. She is still trying to confirm that Maggie is indeed her sister. However, Maggie will shock the hospital in her own way with a big announcement.

The photos shared by Hypable for the Grey’s Anatomy episode focus in on Meredith. She is shown working with a patient. The patient is a very young pregnant girl. The Grey’s Anatomy sneak peek reveals that the girl is not even in her teen years. Another woman found the girl outside, and she brings Meredith to her during the clip. Meredith is clearly shocked to discover that the girl is pregnant.

Ellen Pompeo, the actress behind Meredith Grey, recently shocked fans with news of an addition to her family. Pompeo added a second daughter. The new addition came via surrogate. Inquisitr shared Pompeo’s comments about keeping the surrogacy a secret.

“The mayor of New York City married us, and I kept that a secret for five days, too. I’ve done it before. The covert thing is kind of fun. This baby was born via surrogate, so I felt an obligation to keep the surrogate’s privacy. That was of utmost importance to me.”

Pompeo also revealed that she was very involved with the surrogate. She was even there during the insemination, and she held the woman’s hand. Pompeo has talked about leaving behind her acting career after Grey’s Anatomy ends its run. With two daughters to raise, she will have her hands full.
