Bethenny Frankel Talks ‘Real Housewives’ Return: ‘RHONJ’ An Option For Her?

Bethenny Frankel’s name surfaced recently in regards to the newest season of The Real Housewives of New York. The sixth season wrapped up last month and it sounds like Bravo wasn’t pleased with the ratings. Fans miss the old cast, including Frankel, Jill Zarin and Kelly Bensimon, because these women know how to provide great entertainment. But it is no secret that viewers would love to see what Bethenny has been up to since leaving the show after the third season.

Bethenny Frankel usually ignores rumors about her returning to The Real Housewives of New York; but over the last couple of weeks, she has been entertaining the idea on her social media pages. But nothing has been confirmed yet. And if Bravo ends up signing Frankel onto the show, chances are they will keep it silent for as long as possible.

According to a new tweet, Bethenny Frankel is now entertaining the idea of joining other shows in the franchise. And while New Jersey is right next to New York, it sounds like Bethenny Frankel is more interested in heading to Atlanta to film with NeNe Leakes, Kenya Moore and Kandi Burruss.

Frankel hasn’t signed on to film the newest season of The Real Housewives of New York, because she could be concerned about the direction of the show. It is no secret that putting Bethenny Frankel and Jill Zarin in the same room would be huge for viewer ratings. But it sounds like Frankel isn’t into the whole idea.

“Bethenny hasn’t signed a deal with Bravo or the production company for Real Housewives of New York because she is refusing to come back if arch-enemy Jill Zarin returns,” an insider has revealed about the situation, adding, “For Bethenny to return to the show, she wants to move forward. Having Jill come back would just create more false drama in an attempt to recreate the past.”

But Bethenny Frankel would have plenty of things to talk about on the show, including her current living situation, her divorce, her daughter and her Skinnygirl business. And Bethenny’s return is much welcomed by her former co-star, Sonja Morgan.

“I heard the rumors the Bethenny could be considering coming back,” Sonja Morgan revealed to Tom Murro, adding, “Would be a breath of fresh air. I could use a good sense of humor in the bunch!”

The Real Housewives of New York probably won’t start filming until next year, as the ladies usually get a couple of months off before starting a new season.

Would you want to see Bethenny Frankel on The Real Housewives of New York or would you mind seeing her in a new city, such as New Jersey or Atlanta?
