Princess Diana Had ‘Idiotic’ Marriage, Didn’t ‘Do Her Bit In Bed,’ Former German Chancellor Claims

Princess Diana had an “idiotic” marriage with Prince Charles and failed to do her duties in the bedroom, the former leader of Germany has reportedly claimed.

Helmut Kohl, who served as Germany’s chancellor from 1982 to 1999, had some controversial things to say about the royal family, according to the author of a new book. The book was written by journalist Heribert Schwan, and was based on a series of interviews with the former chancellor.

Kohl reportedly claimed that Princess Diana failed to perform her duties in the bedroom.

“Had she become queen immediately she would have done her bit in bed, created three princes and her duty to the nation would have been fulfilled. But like this she had to travel around, talk to mayors and so on and then she withered away,” Kohl reportedly claimed.

The book goes on to say that Kohl found Prince Charles “entirely friendly,” though he was less than impressed with his decision to marry the former Diana Spencer.

Princess Diana has been getting a lot of attention lately, whether it is ongoing conspiracy theories regarding her 1997 death or a new biopic about her life.

The movie about the Princes of Wales, titled simply Diana, was released last November. The movie stars Naomi Watts as Princess Diana, and will contain some new revelations about her life and final days. The movie followed the book Diana: Her Last Love by Stephen Jeffries, which was written based on conversations that Diana had with confidants and close friends.

The movie is set in the years between 1995 and her death in 1997, showing her divorce from Prince Charles and her estrangement from the royal family. The book claimed Princess Diana had fallen in love with Pakistani heart surgeon Dr. Hasnat Khan and reportedly wanted to marry him, but pressure of Diana’s nonstop paparazzi following caused the couple to split up.
