After being followed to the grocery store, Iggy Azalea had a heated argument with a photographer.
The paparazzi followed Iggy and a good friend to a grocery store in Los Angeles, HotNewHipHop reported. As Iggy and her companion tried to do some late night shopping, the paparazzi stalked them throughout the store.
All celebrities have a point where they lose it with the invasion of their privacy, and Iggy clearly had reached hers that day.
Footage from the grocery store shows Iggy and her friend leaving the store. The paparazzi claims that as she left the store, Iggy assaulted her by spitting in his face. After being spit on, the photographer suggested he could catch Ebola from her saliva.
"I hope you have Ebola, I hope you die," Iggy shouted.
HotNewHipHop says the argument did not stop there. Iggy Azalea made sure the paparazzi knew exactly how she felt.
"You're invading my life! You're in the store when I'm trying to buy eggs. Being a musician doesn't give you the right to sneak into a supermarket and take photographs of somebody buying eggs," Iggy shouted furiously.
After the incident hit the news, the "Fancy" rapper turned to Instagram to tell her side of the story.
"Something is only 'the way it is' for as long as one ALLOWS it to be. What I'm comfortable consenting a paparazzi do doesn't require anyone's opinion but my own. I don't see why that's hard for some to fathom. Judge me for spazzing if you like but you only saw the 30sec aftermath which was classy in comparison to what he said to us inside the grocery store where we discovered him lying on the floor after we had repeatedly & politely asked him to leave multiple locations during the course of the day. I don't hate paps, just the really aggressive ones... I only treated him the way he treated me all day. Fair is fair playboys and girls. Peace out. Ps. Someone in the hotel room above me is getting pounded I can hear it," Iggy posted.
Iggy was in the news early this week, as TMZ reported she was getting divorced. Apparently the media didn't know she was married, and it appears Iggy didn't either.
TMZ obtained divorce papers filed by Maurice Williams. The papers sought to end a common-law marriage.
According to Williams, he and Iggy agreed to be married, and began to live together in 2008. They began living separately in 2013. In the state of Texas, the period of time that a man and women live together doesn't matter. If they agree to marry, they are considered legally married.
Azalea claims she never agreed to marry Williams. Williams has asked the courts to not allow Iggy to sell certain assets that were accumulated during the marriage. If a judge recognizes the marriage those, assets could be split 50/50, and could net him millions.
Iggy claims the divorce is a scam, and Williams is simply attempting to leach money from her.
