Jennifer Garner Reveals Spanx On The Red Carpet

Jennifer Garner arguably has the hunkiest husband in all of Hollywood, but she had admitted that she’s not fancy like the rest of them. She’s the t-shirt and jeans gal, that’s known for being down to earth rather than a high maintenance lady. That said, when it’s time for the red carpet, that’s when she breaks out the high heels and fancy dresses.

Unfortunately, Garner had a wardrobe malfunction of sorts involving her spanx. Garner is pictured on the red carpet with her Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day co-star Steve Carell. The only thing wrong with this picture is that she accidentally exposes the nude shape wear.

Despite the wardrobe malfunction, which we’re sure Garner will take in stride, back in June she told Allure that she’s the most comfortable in sneakers.

“I’m in New Balance sneakers every day. I try not to be because I get made fun of by my husband and friends, but it’s not natural for me to think about how I look on a daily basis.”

She continued, “I’m not someone who should be in a beauty spotlight. I was one of those people who wore pajamas to class every day in college, and I would still be that way if I could!… I’m kind of my own walking beauty disaster.”

Although she may not be a pro at dressing up and walking the red carpet, Garner can work the talk show circuit. All last week she was promoting her two films. She had no problem talking about her family life with husband Ben Affleck and their three children.

On Live! With Kelly and Michael, Garner said she felt like she was having an affair since Affleck has bulked up for his role as Batman.

“You know, he has put on 30 pounds of muscle and he’s eight percent body fat. He looks pretty good. It’s a little bit like, ‘Whoa! Who are you?’ It feels like I’m having an affair. But I don’t mind, I’m not complaining! It’s fine.”

Her best talk show appearance in our eyes is when she stopped at Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show, where she talked about meeting George Clooney with head lice after Ben accused her of being high maintenance. Maybe sometimes it pays to be high maintenance?
