‘RHOOC’ Star Lydia McLaughlin Shows Off Nursery For Baby Roman
Lydia McLaughlin filmed one season of The Real Housewives of Orange County before realizing that the show was not a true representation of who she is or who she wants to be. She is a free spirit who was quickly rattled by the arguments and drama that the other women engaged in. On the reunion, she broke down in tears over Briana Culberson’s issues with her mother’s boyfriend, Brooks Ayers. Lydia walked off the set.
After announcing her departure from The Real Housewives of Orange County, Lydia McLaughlin revealed that she wanted to focus on her family and even have another child with her husband, Doug. The two already have two sons. And within a few months, Lydia announced that she was expecting her third child.
According to a new tweet, Lydia McLaughlin has announced that she is expecting another boy and the family is thrilled at the news. Lydia waited a while to announce the pregnancy, so it feels like she hasn’t been pregnant too long. But she announced on Twitter this week that she is close to her due date.
An earlier report claimed that she was due in November, which would give her a couple of weeks to go. But Lydia and her husband are getting ready at home. This week, McLaughlin showed off the couple’s cute nursery for their third son, a boy they will call Roman.

Lydia McLaughlin hasn’t hidden her pregnancy from the public. She has been very open on her Twitter account and her Instagram feed, where she has been sharing pictures of her baby bump. She doesn’t seem like the kind of person who would sell the picture rights for her newborn baby once Roman enters the world. Instead, Lydia McLaughlin may share the first picture on her social media accounts.
It is unknown whether McLaughlin talks to her The Real Housewives of Orange County co-stars. Ever since leaving the show, Lydia has been spending more time with her family and preparing to give birth to her third son, Roman. According to the Inquisitr, Vicki Gunvalson recently sent out a few tweets that could have been directed at her co-stars, but Lydia may not have been included, since the tweets reflected a season where McLaughlin was absent.
