WWE News: Former WWE Manager Claims He Sold Viagra To WWE Locker Room

Sometimes men need help, and when that help can come in the form of a little blue pill….many take advantage of that. It seems that the WWE locker room was more than open to buying some helpful aides, and they got it from an unlikely source. Former SmackDown General Manager and tag team match maker Teddy Long recently sat down with Kayfabe Commentaries.

He told them that he used to sell Viagra to wrestlers in WWE’s locker room for $10 a pill. He claims that he never needed the pills himself, but he said that he uses them “because I can.”

If you were thinking we were going to come up with some funny lines out of this, well, you’d be right.

I do wonder what the selling point would be for WWE and Viagra. Clearly, WWE cannot partner up with Pfizer, the makers of Viagra. That would mean Teddy would have to really sell the guys on buying from him as their recent dealer of pop up fun. The line, “Viagra puts the get up in kip up” seems like a good way to go about this in my opinion. You’re welcome creative.

Also, while Teddy did sell these for just $10 a pop, you have to wonder if he would get in trouble for drug trafficking. Viagra is a prescription pill that a doctor has to prescribe to you personally, and you cannot just get it over the counter at the local pharmacy in the United States. That being said, what Long did was technically illegal. He of course admitted his crime on tape, which pretty much tells you that law enforcement would have enough to prosecute. Of course they would have to catch him in the act.

Either way, it is interesting that WWE didn’t really get onto Long about it. Teddy was recently released from WWE in the spring of this year. It was a long time coming seemingly as he had been with WWE for almost two decades. He only showed up to make random tag team matches, which was fun to see for some fans,

et it made you wonder why a singles match was so difficult to schedule.

Teddy ran SmackDown for a long time, but we’d see him come out on RAW and make tag matches too. It seems if WWE had to make such a match, Long was the man they called. Well if you ask me, WWE may have called Teddy for that but it the wrestlers called him for other reasons. I guess he really wanted to put the emphasis on his last name because who better to sell Viagra to WWE talent than a man named Mr. Long?
