Kris Jenner on Divorce from Bruce Jenner: ‘I Feel Like I Failed’ — Here’s Why
Kris Jenner did not waste much time before deciding to open up publicly about her decision to divorce Bruce Jenner.
In a recent interview with Giuliana Rancic, Kris Jenner admitted that the demise of her marriage actually makes her feel like a failure.
“I feel like I failed at something because I wanted it to be that relationship for the rest of my life. When I realized that it wasn’t, then you want the next best thing and that’s an amazing friendship.”
During the same interview, Kris Jenner also mentioned that she wanted her marriage to Bruce Jenner to be similar to a storybook fairy tale.
“I signed up for happily ever after and it didn’t work out that way and it makes me feel really sad.”
However, Kris Jenner also stated that she was willing to work hard on keeping her relationship with Bruce Jenner intact one way or another — even though they eventually decided to no longer stay married.
“You don’t spend 25 years of your life with somebody and then just walk away and say I don’t want to talk to you anymore.”
Taking into consideration the decades that they spent together not just as husband and wife but also as daddy and mommy, it seems to make sense for them to strive to keep things as amicable as possible. This is especially the case since Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner are known for having one of the most openly exposed marriages in Hollywood — thanks to the numerous reality shows that have been developed over the years based on their family.

Many fans and critics are still not pleased with the way that Kris Jenner decided to walk away from the marriage without giving Bruce Jenner a fair cut of what many people feels that he deserves. Instead, several reports confirmed that Bruce and Kris Jenner only had to split $60 million — a mere fraction of what should have been calculated based on Kris Jenner’s income, assets, and net worth.
Even though she is going through yet another failed marriage, Kris Jenner is determined to not stay away from finding love again in the near future.
“I want to definitely be in love, I like being in love, I think there’s no better feeling in the world. So yeah, I mean that would be amazing.”
Perhaps Kris Jenner will still be able to find the fairy tale love for which she has been searching and assumed that she had found. Only time will tell.
