Gia Giudice Gets Tons Of Support After Parents’ Sentencing: ‘RHONJ’ Fans Send Love

Gia Giudice has had a very emotional day as both of her parents were sentenced to prison. The 13-year-old reality star is the oldest of the four Giudice girls and she does understand much of what’s going on legally with her parents. Not long after Teresa Giudice was sentenced to 15 months in prison did Gia take to her Twitter account to let fans know that she’s feeling the love. She has the incredible support of her family, her friends, and thousands of complete strangers who she has never even met.

Gia Giudice kept her comment short but just seeing that message gave a lot of people hope tonight. While there are certainly a good amount of people who feel as though Gia’s parents, Teresa and Joe, should go to prison for the crimes they committed, there are also a good amount of people who are completely heartbroken for Gia and her three sisters, Gabriella, 9, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 5. These girls are going to go through some really big life changes over the next few years, and that’s what is the hardest part of all of this.

Seeing Gia on Twitter is a great sign. It’s proof that she’s strong and that she is going to get through this and help her sisters get through it too. RHONJ fans have seen Gia grow into a young lady, and she is going to be instrumental in the changes that her family is going to go through. It’s not going to be easy, but they will all get through this.

According to TMZ, Teresa begged the judge for leniency before she was given the news. The judge acknowledged the couple’s four daughters a couple of times, and praised both Joe and Teresa for being good parents. It is this reason that the judge decided to stagger the two sentences. Teresa will serve her 15 months (she has to surrender herself by January) while Joe cares for the couple’s kids. When Teresa is released from jail, Joe will surrender and serve 41 months (read about his sentence in this article by The Inquisitr).

Other Giudice/Gorga family members have not made statements just yet. As you can imagine, both families are emotionally drained after this very long day. Sources have said that Teresa’s sentencing was “unexpected.” Joe and Teresa are expected to release statements, perhaps tomorrow, and will be doing their first post-hearing interview with Andy Cohen.
