Amal Alamuddin, George Clooney Donate Money For Wedding Photos To Charity

Amal Alamuddin and her husband George Clooney won’t be making a dime off of their wedding photos. The newlyweds agreed to have their wedding pics featured in People Magazine and Hello Magazine for a price, but they have decided to donate all of the money to charity. According to TMZ, the couple have chosen several human rights charities to give money to, with a large amount of money going directly to the Satellite Sentinel Project.

“Our sources say [that] the money will be going to several human rights charities. We’re told the lion’s share is earmarked for the Satellite Sentinel Project — a charity that monitors the movements of militant gangs in the Sudan… in order to warn civilians. Clooney is a co-founder of the group, which launched in 2010.”

George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin celebrated their big day over the course of four days in Venice, Italy. The two were surrounded by family and friends, many of whom had wonderful things to say about the couple — and the events of the weekend. Amal’s mother, Baria, spoke with People after the wedding, and she had nothing but glowing things to say about her time in Italy — and her new son-in-law.

“George and Amal radiated love all night. The wedding was so unbelievably special, it was legendary. These three days – the friends, the families, the atmosphere, everything – will stay with me all the rest of my life,” said Baria Alamuddin. “I said, ‘George, we love you truly, deeply and sincerely. We enjoy your charm, your wit, intelligent conversation and generosity. You are simply perfect.'”

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, many people are thrilled that Clooney has finally changed his ways. While many believed that he would be a bachelor for life, he finally met someone that made him want to give up the single life. George has practically turned into a different person and he isn’t afraid of who he has become — nor should he be. The man has found love and is ready to share his life with someone, and that is truly a beautiful thing.

During a recent speech at a gala the actor professed his love for Amal. “I met my bride-to-be in Italy. And I will be married in Italy soon — in a couple of weeks — in Venice, of all places. And, I guess in closing, I’d like to also say to my bride-to-be, Amal, that I love you very much. And I can’t wait to be your husband,” he said. As if it was possible, people love George even more now.

He always has been a classy guy.
