Kate Middleton Hoping For A Daughter In Order To Honor Late Princess Diana

Kate Middleton and Prince William will naturally be hoping that the new royal baby is happy and healthy; but secretly they will also most probably be hoping that she is a girl as a sister for baby George would be welcomed.

It was reported by a number of media outlets recently that due to their sibling situations, the Duchess and the Prince are keen to have kids close together in age.

It was also widely reported that Kate Middleton has been suffering from a grueling bout of hyperemesis gravidarum during her latest pregnancy, as she did when she was first pregnant with George.

The Inquisitr reported Saturday, quoting a report from Miriam Phillips in the Guardian, that despite some media outlets suggesting that Kate’s morning sickness was a fuss about nothing, in reality it’s a whole lot worse than just “morning sickness.”

Phillips shares her experience with the debilitating condition and explains that Kate Middleton is probably going through hell as she navigates her pregnancy, suffering from an acute case of the condition.

As per Phillips’ article,

“Quite frankly, the comparison of hyperemesis to morning sickness is like breaking your arm in several places and then being told you’ve just knocked your funny bone. Hopefully, this increased media attention will help the poor expectant mums, who like me, were wiped out by the condition.”

The good news, according to the latest statements from the palace, is that Kate is coming out of the worst of the morning sickness and is on the road to recovery.

People magazine reported that a royal source told it that Kate Middleton is now up and about and despite needing to rest frequently, is feeling a whole lot better.

Royal aides even confirmed this weekend that Kate will be attending public engagements very soon, “There will be engagements in October and November. We just haven’t announced them yet,” a spokesman told the Daily Mail.

At the same time, royal biographer Andrew Morton says that the couple has decided to name their baby, if it’s a girl, Elizabeth Diana Windsor, in honor of the late Princess Diana, William’s mother.

Morton reportedly told The Sun in Britain, “Close friends of William and Kate have told me that if it is a girl they want to name the baby after Diana.”
