Rick Ross Reportedly Unconscious After Seizure on Memphis Bound Flight

Rapper Rick Ross experienced a frightening medical event on a plane this afternoon, but thanks to the magic of Twitter, we know the hip-hop star is completely fine after the drama.

Ross, 35, was on a flight from Fort Lauderdale to Memphis at the time of the incident- initial details were shaky, but TMZ confirmed neither drugs nor alcohol were involved in the episode. The gossip blog appears to have intercepted a 911 call reporting Ross’ symptoms and indicated paramedics were “desperately trying to resuscitate him” after he lost consciousness. Unspecified reports from the scene had the rapper being removed from the flight on a gurney after an emergency stop was made to administer medical assistance to the stricken rapper.

Whatever occurred on the flight, however, seems to have passed over and Ross himself tweeted that he was fine. In response to an outpouring of concern- @ElliottWilson had tweeted: “Don’t scare a nigga like that. Thanks.”- Ross tweeted back:

Ross’ last Twitter posting was about an hour ago, and the rapper has been silent on the service since. However, one of Ross’ close friends, the rapper Wale, tweeted:

I just talked to Ross…he’s 100 pct ok..

User @hustlesimmons fired back:

If I have a seizure and someone from my camp report that I’m ok then promotes a Hustlepalooza they are fired!!!!!! Next topic please!

To which Wale replied:

No further comment has been made by Ross or his entourage.
