Amal Alamuddin Wedding: Amore Is In The Air For A Perfectly Directed 4-Day Celebration [Photos]

Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney are getting married in Venice, Italy, tomorrow, and there is already amore (love, in Italian) in the air. According to The Guardian, everything is in place and simply perfect — just how George imagined it. The actor and his bride couldn’t have chosen a more romantic, beautiful backdrop for their special day, and the party has already started.

“In the early afternoon the couple were filmed steaming along the Giudecca Canal, presumably on their way to the booked-out Belmond Cipriani,” reports The Guardian. The couple will reportedly be enjoying a rehearsal dinner tonight before getting ready to walk down the aisle tomorrow. Most of Clooney’s celeb friends — from Sandra Bullock to Bono — are already in town for the festivities. Amal Alamuddin is rumored to be staying in the Alcova Tiepolo suite where she will get ready with her mom, sister, and best friends tomorrow. The bride will either be wearing a gown by Oscar de la Renta or Alexander McQueen — or she may be wearing two dresses… one for the ceremony and another for the reception. Clooney is wearing a custom tux by Georgio Armani. He will look sharp, no question.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, the Mayor of Rome, Walter Veltroni, will be conducting the ceremony. He also married Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise back in 2006. Clooney has chosen his BFF Rande Gerber as his best man. Gerber and his wife, model Cindy Crawford, arrived in Italy earlier this week.

Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney are in the thick of everything, but are said to be enjoying themselves and leaving the stressful details (the flowers! The place settings! The cake!) to paid professionals. According to E! News, it’s all about the celebrating from here on out.

“[Tonight] Clooney will drop Alamuddin off at the Aman Canal Grande. From there, she and eight gal pals will celebrate the future Mrs. Clooney saying goodbye to her single status forever!”

Meanwhile, the groom “will make his way back to Hotel Cipriani, where he’ll meet up with his guy friends for a final evening of unattached fun.” Said guy friends include Matt Damon, Brad Pitt — it’s going to be like filming Ocean’s Fourteen.

But the festivities won’t stop tomorrow. On Sunday, the newlyweds will host a lunch with wedding guests, and there will be another party that night. On Monday, Clooney and Alamuddin will have a civil ceremony, and that is when they will officially and legally be man and wife.
