Jason Aldean Engaged to Brittany Kerr, Turns Former Mistress Into Future Wife

Jason Aldean is officially engaged to Brittany Kerr, according to a report released by TMZ.

According to the report, Jason Aldean sealed the deal and popped the question to Brittany Kerr while touring the West Coast.

Even though there is still not an official confirmation of how Jason Aldean popped the question to the former American Idol contestant, rumors has it that he arranged a very private tour to be held at the San Diego Zoo on Wednesday.

By marrying Brittany Kerr, Jason Aldean will be turning the former mistress that caused his first marriage to end into the future wife of his second marriage.

The private relationship between then-married Jason Aldean and Brittany Kerr was first revealed to the world back in 2012 when a series of pictures of the couple making out surfaced online. At the time, 37-year old Jason Aldean was quick to apologize for his irresponsible actions, stating that he had “too much to drink” and “screwed up” that night.

However, that clearly was not the case since Jason later decided to divorce his then-wife, high school sweetheart and the mother of his two daughters, Jessica Ussery, and started officially dating Brittany Kerr shortly thereafter.

Although it has been nearly two years since that happened, many fans and critics of Jason Aldean are still hurt and feel betrayed by the country music star.

When asked about those reactions and responses in a recent interview with Billboard Magazine, Jason Aldean plainly said that everybody needs to “get over it.”

“It has been two years…Get over it already! And then when I finally go get enough of it and say something, every newspaper grabs it. And I’m not trying to get in the headlines—I’m just trying to get people to stop running their mouths.”

If his goal was to stay out of the headlines, then Jason Aldean probably should have reconsidered popping the question in the first place – planning to take his past mistress to the altar in the near future.

Chances are that if Jason Aldean has no regrets over dating Brittany Kerr that he will have no regrets over marrying her, right?
