‘Dallas’ Season 3 Finale Spoilers, Renewal Update: What Can Fans Expect?
The Season 3 finale of Dallas airs Monday night on TNT and the show promises big drama. A Ewing family member will die according to Dallas spoilers and teasers, but who will it be? Fans have been anxious for renewal news for the TNT show, but so far the network isn’t confirming either a renewal or a cancellation. What can viewers expect in the 2-part finale Monday night?
Josh Henderson talked with TVLine and teased some big Dallas spoilers. He says that the big TNT promo is accurate in that one Ewing will perish in the season 3 finale. Which one will it be? Of course fans will have to tune in to find out the answer to that one.
It seems that just about everybody on the canvas will be in danger at once. John Ross is trying to save Emma and Ann from the cartel and he’s willing to put himself in grave danger to do it. He will make a big decision in Monday’s finale, said to be a dangerous one, to try to do the right thing. He’s trying to fix the mistakes he’s made, but this comes with great risks. Henderson teases that he does love Pamela and he’s willing to do whatever it takes to prove his loyalty to his family.
The Dallas death ahead is said to be a game-changer and fans all have their theories about which character they think is about to bite the dust. Will it be one of the core family members or someone fans won’t care much about? Many theorize that it may be Ann who is killed. Others wonder if it may end up being Nicolas Trevino, since many suspect that it will turn out that he is JR’s illegitimate son.
Monday night’s Dallas season 3 finale consists of two back-to-back episodes. First there is “Endgame” and the night finishes with “Brave New World.” Fans lament that the season has gone too quickly, a challenge surely felt due to the network’s strategy of splitting the season into essentially two mini-seasons.
As for what is about to go down in these final two season 3 episodes, the Dallas spoilers via the TV Guide descriptions lay out some clues. Christopher of course is trying to find Elena while the cartel double-crosses Bobby. Nicolas is trying to prove himself but his strategy creates new problems while John Ross attempts to straighten everything out.
There are consequences for the cartel as some people die as others are saved. There will be a new alliance created between Sue Ellen and Bobby while Elena faces someone’s betrayal. The Season 3 finale will also reveal a shocking secret about J.R. to John Ross. Some of those details could certainly lend themselves to the theory that Nicolas is J.R.’s son and he may die in this finale, but everybody will have to tune in to find out.
What about Season 4 of Dallas? The season 3 finale is being touted as a season finale rather than series finale, and the show’s executive producer Cynthia Cidre shared with Entertainment Weekly what the plans are for Season 4 should it happen, so those behind the show are hopeful and setting the stage for more.
At this point TNT hasn’t made any decisions either way regarding the future of Dallas, neither canceling or renewing the show quite yet. It would seem that the season 3 finale ratings likely will play a key role in determining the show’s future. Fans are hopeful, as they certainly don’t want this to be the end. Tune in to the Dallas Season 3 finale airing Monday, September 22 on TNT and stay tuned for news regarding a possible Season 4.
