Meagan Good Responds To Leaked Nude Photos: What Does She Think About Nudity?

Meagan Good is one of the latest victims of “The Fappening.” Her nude photos were released in a large batch of leaks that included naked pictures of Kim Kardashian, Gabrielle Union, Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Bosworth, Vanessa Hudgens, and Rihanna.

According to ET Online, the Think Like a Man Too star was not very happy with the men who think that it’s okay to steal a woman’s personal property and share it with world. Meagan Good shared her thoughts about being targeted in an emotional Instagram post.

A few weeks ago, Good shared another Instagram post that seems appropriate for the situation.

Meagan’s photos were leaked on Reddit and 4chan along with those of numerous other celebrities. Nude photos of Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton started popping up on the web over Labor Day weekend, and they were followed by stolen pictures from a long list of famous women. Many of the nude photos were being posted on a subreddit titled “The Fappening.” As The Inquisitr previously reported, this subreddit was eventually shut down. However, Reddit hasn’t banned its successor, “Fappening Discussion.” Photos of Good and other celebrities continue to be leaked in that forum and in various other subreddits.

Earlier this year, Meagan shared her thoughts on nudity during an interview with Rolling Out magazine. The actress has no problem with women baring skin, but she’s not a fan of gratuitous nudity (or having her nude photos stolen and leaked on the internet, obviously).

“I have no problem with nudity — it just has to not be exploitative and it has to be important to tell the story. It depends on the script, the character, the story, the tone of the movie — all of those things. I commend women of every nationality that are bold enough to tell a story in a way that’s fearless. I just haven’t found a project where I felt it was necessary to do that. The scenes I’ve come across seemed exploitative and I just didn’t do it.”

Unfortunately, now the actress is being exploited in the worst possible way, and she’s not even getting paid for it.

Meagan Good hasn’t said anything about contacting her lawyers, but her comment about choosing “not to give the persons responsible my power” makes it sound like she’s not going to pursue the hackers. However, her Think Like a Man Too co-star is ready to take down the internet pervs.

According to TMZ, Gabrielle Union also confirmed that her nude photos were stolen. In a joint statement, she and husband Dwayne Wade revealed that their legal team will be contacting the FBI.

“It has come to our attention that our private moments, that were shared and deleted solely between my husband and myself, have been leaked by some vultures,” the statement read. Gabrielle Union also talked about being a “victim of a digital hate crime.”

“I can’t help but to be reminded that since the dawn of time women and children, specifically women of color, have been victimized, and the power over their own bodies taken from them. These atrocities against women and children continue worldwide.”
