Kelly Ripa guest starring on TLC’s ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ season 7 premier
Kelly Ripa will be a guest star on tonight’s season 7 premier episode of TLC’s ‘Say Yes to the Dress‘, a popular bridal reality show.
In the episode, Ripa will be trying her hand at playing bridal consultant, helping bride-to-be Comora Roberson pick out her wedding dress while sticking to a $10,000 price range. Naturally, things don’t go quite so well as the bride’s friends turn their noses at Ripa’s first choice of a wedding dress.
“I’m totally overwhelmed,” Ripa said in a preview of the reality bridal series. “This could be the hardest job on the planet!”
Say Yes to the Dress takes place at the Kleinfeld Bridal boutique in New York, and follows women in their quest to find their perfect, dream wedding dress.
Ripa, 41, has co-starred alongside Regis Philbin on LIVE! With Regis & Kelly since 2001. Last month, Philbin revealed that after an extended stay on LIVE!, his last show would be on November 18 of this year.
“There is a time that everything must come to an end for certain people on camera, especially certain old people,” Philbin said of his departure. That won’t be the last we see of Philbin after his stint on LIVE! ends, however. He told USA Today:
“There are several things that interest me. You know these reality shows? I would love to do a real reality show. I did a little pilot for somebody last week in L.A.”
