For Britney Spears, the years since she married Kevin Federline have resembled a roller coaster. Although the divorced duo aren’t celebrating what might be called an un-anniversary, it’s now 10 years since their fairy-tale wedding. And Britney Spears, thanks to her dedication to a low carb diet and fitness program, has become known as the ultimate sleek queen of pop, reported Us Weekly on September 19.
Although their marriage lasted only two years, Britney Spears and Kevin earned enough negative attention to last them a lifetime. Their unfortunate decision to do a reality show, Britney & Kevin: Chaotic, depicted them in the most unappealing way possible. Smoking, swearing and spitting their way through episode after episode, the couple seemed to feel that bad behavior was the new good manners.
Once the marriage ended, Britney Spears rivaled Taylor Swift for her speed in linking up and breaking off with boyfriends. At times, her relationships required a spreadsheet to track.
For example, now that she’s single (again), Britney Spears enjoyed a kiss from her friend Cade Hudson. Who’s Cade? He just happens to be the best friend of her ex-fiancé Jason Trawick, reported the Daily Mail on September 19.
Sharing Kim Kardashian’s philosophy that it’s not real unless you share it with the world, Britney Spears posted photos on Instagram.
“Tons of X’s and O’s to my BFFTons of X’s and O’s to my BFF!” posted the pop princess for the caption.
Although she has survived a variety of breakups and makeups, Britney Spears has overcome her weight problems. And for that, her long-time personal trainer credits her low carb diet and dedication to fitness. Tony Martinez has designed a routine for Britney that features 90-minute yoga sessions and hour-long cardio.
Tony describes himself on his website as an athletic trainer/nutritional coach to the stars. In addition to Britney Spears, he has trained Janet Jackson and Steve Harvey.
Following a low carb diet isn’t easy, Britney recently told the Las Vegas Sun. But she cut the carbohydrates to achieve her best body for her Las Vegas show.
“I’m coming back in top condition and running at full speed,” boasted Britney Spears. “It was hard because I love high-carb foods like chocolate chip cookies and spaghetti.”
Tony designed the workouts to improve Britney’s endurance and boost her weight loss.
“It also included a mix of ab workouts, treadmill runs and treadmill exercises walking backward at different intervals and walking forward,” he said.
So how does Britney Spears stay grounded? As The Inquisitr reported, she’s dedicated to her role of mother. With two little boys, Britney Spears doesn’t hesitate to show her love. From celebrating their birthday with age-appropriate treats to taking them on family vacations to Hawaii, she has coupled her career as a pop princess with personal pride in being a loving mother.
