Fans can watch the League of Legends World Championship live online and see which team can take the biggest prize in the e-Sports world.

The road to the championship has already begun, with teams from across the globe doing battle.

The official League of Legends site has the details.

“Each of the 16 qualifying teams for Worlds will be drawn into one of four groups (four teams per each group). Two out of the four groups will play the entirety of their group stage games in Taiwan, and the other two groups will play the entirety of their group stage games in Singapore. During the group stage, each team will play every other team twice (once on blue side, once on purple) – meaning that each team plays six games and there are 24 games per location. Fans who watch the League of Legends World Championships live online will see a sport ready to break out into the mainstream. As e-Sports have gained popularity in recent years, LoL has led the way, bringing home big ratings for online broadcast of matches.

The video game has now forged a partnership with the band Imagine Dragons, which just recorded a song called “Warriors” specifically for the game.

The League of Legends World Championships takes place over the course of September and October, with the first phase from Taiwan and the second phase from Singapore. Quarterfinals take place October 3 through 6 in Busan, Korea, while the semifinals go down October 11 and 12 in Seoul.

The finals will also be in Seoul on October 19.
