Another day, another creepy American Horror Story: Freak Show poster! Over the last few weeks, we have witnessed some of the creepiest advertisements from the FX series. Promos on Youtube have been released for the upcoming Freak Show season and things are getting really intense.
Now, we have yet another new poster and a new promo from the upcoming season, thanks to TV Line. It’s a pretty large poster that engages the eye and then completely turns the viewer’s expectations on its head — much like the previous seasons of American Horror Story. Not convinced? Well here’s a look at the latest poster.

When the plot was finally announced, fans had started to get in on the fun and created a few posters. Now we have the real deal ahead of the October 8 season premiere.
If there’s anything we’ve learned from social media, it’s that it can aid in helping a show generate more fans, and that seems to be something the AHS crowd is very aware of. This year’s campaign has been very heavy on the social media front, with ads and photos released in waves.
In addition to the newest poster, American Horror Story’s latest ad has been hashtagged as #WirSindAlleFreaks.
The ad features children peeking under the Freak Show tent to see the “unusual” characters, before a child gets dragged into the tent. It doesn’t show much, but all of this season’s teases have been riding a brilliant wave of cryptic hints that also helps to set a very promising tone.
The most talked about ad has been the poster revealing everyone’s characters. Most anticipated is Sarah Paulson’s conjoined twins Bette and Dot. Her characters made their debut via a Twitter photo long before we knew about most of the other characters.
