Eva Mendes ‘Happy To Be A Mom’ With Ryan Gosling

New parents Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are bursting with joy over their perfect baby girl born last week in Los Angeles.

This according to a source at E! News that said Eva and hubby Ryan Gosling have taken to parenthood, with Mendes especially overjoyed.

“Eva is so happy she’s a mom, their baby girl is perfect! They are at home now with the baby and Eva is feeling great she says.”

And that’s not all. Sources also told E! News how excited Eva Mendes was to be having a girl.

“She’s so good with kids and has been wanting this a really long time,” the insider said. “When she found out she was having a girl, she was freaking out. She kind of wanted a girl deep down, but of course just wants a happy and healthy baby!

Meanwhile, Gosling is ready to step up to the plate now that he has two women in his life.

“Ryan is saying he is going to be overpowered with girls in the house and is gonna have to be extra manly around the house!”

Meanwhile, Hollywood Life is reporting that the baby appears to definitely look more like Eva Mendes than Ryan Gosling, but admits “that no matter who she looked like — Ryan or Eva — she would definitely be one gorgeous baby.”

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Mendes gave birth to their baby girl last Friday in Los Angeles, but the private pair have yet to officially release a statement confirming neither the birth nor their daughter’s name.

The Daily Mail is reporting that, on Wednesday, Gosling invited his mother and older sister over to visit the newborn at their home and lend a helping hand.

Ryan was born in Ontario, Canada, but his parents divorced when he was child. Gosling was raised by single mom Donna who was on-hand to assist Mendes and her new granddaughter. Gosling, 33 and Mendes, 40, first started dating in the fall of 2011 while filming the movie Place Beyond the Pines, where the duo ironically played the roles of parents on-screen.

Before getting together with Gosling, Mendes was linked to Jason Sudekis, and involved with musician George Augusto for nine years. Ryan, meanwhile, was dating his Notebook co-star Rachel McAdams, and was linked to his Murder By Numbers co-star Sandra Bullock from 2001 to 2002.
