Zayn Malik Comforts Harry Styles During Health Scare

Zayn Malik took a moment to comfort Harry Styles during a recent One Direction show at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.

Fans were understandably concerned when Styles began experiencing chest pains during the aforementioned show. As soon as Harry began showing a little discomfort, Liam Payne helped his bandmate offstage. Instead of letting the singer suffer on his own, Zayn Malik took a moment to check out Harry’s condition.

According to Unreality TV, someone armed with a cellphone managed to capture Malik giving his pal a little TLC during the performance. Not surprisingly, a lot of Directioners took the moment entirely out of context. This prompted some folks to assume that Zayn and Harry were making out onstage. As you can probably imagine, it didn’t take long for Twitter to have a complete meltdown. More on that later.

J-14 reports that Styles began having chest pains while belting out the group’s hit “Best Song Ever.” As you can see from the video embedded below, the problem really starts to hit the guy hard towards the end of the tune. Instead of disappointing fans and leaving the show, the singer manages to perform through the pain. What a trooper!

Since Zayn Malik and the boys performed on the next stop of their North American tour, apparently Styles is doing okay. Since there’s no word for the boys about what went down at the Rose Bowl, it’s probably not a cause for serious concern. However, it was certainly enough to give fans of the group a little scare.

As mentioned, it didn’t take long for some Zayn Malik fans to take the GIF embedded above completely out of context. Since it does look as though Zayn is giving Harry an affectionate kiss, lots of Directioners lost their minds on social media.

What do you think about Zayn Malik giving his buddy some tender loving care during his health scare in California? Are you glad Harry’s okay?
