Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi have placed their 3 acre Beverly Hills homes on the open market just after they sat down with Architectural Digest for their November 2011 issue.
The main home on the property offers 9,200 square feet of space while two guesthouses and a koi pond also sit on the property. All together there is 15,000 square feet of livable space.
In Architectural Digest the happy couple showed off beautiful artwork including tables, chairs, blankets and rugs from around the world.
The home features a luxurious pool in the backyard and sweeping views of Los Angeles.
Speaking to the magazine Ellen revealed:
“We never had a house when I was growing up,” and “We always rented. But my father would dream, and we used to look at houses all the time. I’d pick out which bedroom would be mine and get all excited.”
She adds: “The first thing I did when I made money was buy a house. And then…”
De Rossi chimed in:
“Another one,” De Rossi says. “And another one and another one and another one.”
Given the homes recent exposure and the couple’s renovating touches a buyer will likely come forward in the not to distant future.
