‘RHOA’ Star Kandi Burruss Buys Her Mother A Home Despite Past Struggles

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss was determined to find love again after sharing her single life on the show for a couple of seasons. After her trip to Africa with the women, she believed that she had found love. Kandi Burruss started dating Bravo producer Todd Tucker, and soon the two had moved in together and were planning their wedding.

But things were not always happy in the home. Burruss had a hard time convincing her own mother that Todd was the right man for her. Kandi’s mother felt that he was using her for her money, as he was living in Kandi’s house with her. But it sounds like things have changed in the Burruss home, and her mother now seems very supportive of their union.

According to a new Bravo report, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss recently bought her mother a home, which may come as a shock to people who have been following their story. On the reunion show, Mama Joyce revealed that she makes her own money and doesn’t need her daughter to take care of her. But Kandi Burruss reminded her mother of the time se used Kandi’s name to make credit card purchases.

“Just bought a new house for my mom,” Kandi Burruss revealed on Instagram this week, as she proudly posed with her mother and someone who appears to be their real-estate agent.

Kandi Burruss added that the purchase was bittersweet because her mother will be moving into a home where a couple had lived for 20 years. Hopefully, Mama Joyce can create some new memories in the home with her daughter and granddaughter, Riley.

But Kandi could be looking to get her Joyce settled, as she herself is looking forward to the future. This week, there have been many rumors that Kandi Burruss is pregnant, and that she is expecting her first child with her new husband. Kandi already has a daughter from a previous relationship.

The pregnancy news comes just weeks after Kandi told people that she was determined to shed some weight, according to The Inquisitr. Burruss was supposedly leaning towards shedding over 20 pounds in a short amount of time. If she is indeed planning on slimming down, one can hope that she isn’t planning on doing so during the pregnancy.
