Phil Robertson On Abortion: Pro-Choice Votes Are ‘Ripping Human Fetuses Out Of Their Mother’s Womb’

The Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson just found another political hot button topic to tackle. This time, he’s taking on the controversial subject of abortion and politics and is telling everyone to vote down anyone who considers themselves pro-choice and not pro-life.

In a related report by The Inquisitr, an unborn child’s “bucket list” is being celebrated by a pro-life family who decided to keep their baby rather than have an abortion despite doctors saying the child has no chance of living beyond the day of his birth.

During the recent Outdoor Extravaganza at the CenturyLink center, Phil Robertson spoke to an estimated crowd of 8,000 people about how apathy in politics has changed the political landscape.

“There are about 90 to 100 million of us who claim Jesus. The problem is only half of you register to vote and out of the half of you that registers to vote, only half of that group actually goes and votes. Therefore, when you’re looking up there and griping and complaining about what you see in Washington D.C., you might as well shut up. The reason they’re there is we’re putting them there. If you don’t get anything else out of this, remember this — register to vote for crying out loud.”

This statement matches a recent theme that Phil has restated multiple times in the past several weeks.

“The people are at fault because we elect leaders and then we whine and bellyache. My belief is we need spiritual men making political decisions. I just think based on the Founding Fathers, you can read them at length, I was amazed at how godly and how they revered the Bible. Somewhere between there and I’m sorry to say, my generation, we got here; we started smoking dope, tune in and turn out, make love not war. The bottom line is we have really screwed this thing up. I just think we need to get back to what our Founding Fathers told us. Get back to God, love our neighbor.”

While discussing the apathy of Christian voters, Phil took on pro-choice voters by telling everyone to vote down any politician who supports abortion.

“If the dude or woman is for ripping human fetuses out of their mother’s womb, don’t ever vote for that,” Robertson said. “Don’t ever say ‘yes’ to that. It’s terrible.”

Finishing to thunderous applause, Phil Robertson finished his speech by claiming that people have run God out of schools, the entertainment business, news media, the judiciary, and especially out of Washington D.C. and Congress. In the end, Phil asserts that “what you get is what is left up there. They’re ungodly. You agree?”
